Mason the tornado dog returns home to family

Mason the tornado dog has been reunited with his family and is now able to stay at home after recovering from injuries he sustained in the April 27 tornado.

The terrier found his way home through tornado debris by crawling on two broken legs. Mason's owners found him on their front porch two weeks after the storms, when they returned to the site of their North Smithfield home to salvage their belongings. Mason has undergone surgeries on his legs to help him fully recover.

An update from yesterday on the Mason the Tornado Dog Facebook page said:

Mason is now at home with his loving family. They are very happy to have him back at home with them. He went home with great big box of goodies that people all over the world sent to him so he will be living the good life. Thanks for all of the continued support through this great dogs recovery.
