Miss Alabama USA runner-up charged in hit and run | News

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC)- Tuscaloosa police say they have arrested and charged a woman in a November 2012 hit and run.

Police say that Stormie Lane Henderson, 22, hit two pedestrians at 12th Street and 10th Avenue in Tuscaloosa around 2:10 a.m. Nov. 16, 2012.

The pedestrians were treated at DCH for non life-threatening injuries. The case was presented to a grand jury, which issues a felony warrant for the hit and run. Henderson was arrested Feb. 11.

Henderson, who is a fourth runner-up in the Miss Alabama USA pageant, has been charged with one count of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. She is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
