TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC)- Tuscaloosa police found a man in a ditch after his girlfriend allegedly stabbed him in the chest.

Police responded to Dogwood Lane on a stabbing call and found a man in a ditch off McFarland Boulevard. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Officers took the man's girlfriend, Jennifer Biggs, into custody on Wednesday, Dec. 12. She's charged with domestic violence related assault charges.

Authorities placed her on a 12 hour hold in the Tuscaloosa County jail and set her bond at $6,000.
