Tuscaloosa Regional Air Show this weekend | Events

The 2012 Tuscaloosa Regional Air Show presented by McAlister’s Deli, will take place March 31 and April 1.

To purchase Pilot’s Reception, Reserved Seating, or Public Chalet tickets you can visit the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Box Office located at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway, the Publix located at 1190 University Boulevard or www.tuscaloosaregionalairshow.com. General Admission is free to the public.

The 2012 Pilot’s Reception will take place 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at the brand new Tuscaloosa RiverMarket and Visitor’s Center located at 1910 Jack Warner Parkway. During this exclusive event, ticket holders will have the chance to meet with air show performers such as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Army Golden Knights. Tickets are $50 per person and include hors d'oeuvres and two drink tickets for adults 21 and over. The number of tickets available to the public is limited.

Reserved seating for the air show will be an 8x8 foot square of land that can hold six individuals. Six tickets will automatically be printed for each square sold and the city encourages buyers to use all six tickets. One square costs $27 ($4.50 per person) per day and is located at show center. If you purchase reserved seating, you are welcome to bring charis and blankets to sit on or you can rent chairs at the show.

Public Chalet tickets offer the ultimate VIP experience for individual and/or small groups attending the air show. Tickets are $50 per person and include access to a shaded tent area, private restrooms, parking passes and catered food provided by McAlister’s Deli. Businesses and organizations can purchase a corporate chalet that can accomodate 150 people.
