Son shoots mother's boyfriend in domestic altercation | Crime
The Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a domestic violence shooting that occurred Sunday, Nov. 6 at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the Sherwood Trailer Park in the 3000 block of 11th Street.
Deputies say a 41-year-old man was shot in the thigh by his girlfriend's 23-year-old son. The shooting victim allegedly threw a drink on his girlfriend while the two were fighting. The girlfriend's son heard the commotion, came out of his room and allegedly was hit by his mother's boyfriend. The son then shot the 41-year-old in the leg and fled the scene, according to Captain Loyd Baker with the Homicide Unit.
The case is still under investigation.
