United Saints Recovery Project to aid Tuscaloosa church

This weekend the United Saints Recovery Project will help the Greater Faith and Victory Worship Center in the Alberta City area rebuild after being destroyed in the April 27 tornado. Volunteers from the Project, Berry College and other community members will work through Monday Oct. 11 to remove debris and begin the rebuilding process. Greater Faith will host a BBQ Saturday afternoon for the volunteers.

During the April storm, the church roof was ripped off, allowing for debris to fall into the interior of the building. This devastation hurt not just the church, but the greater community; Greater Faith's largest ministry was a weekly community dinner that fed up to 700 people. The dinners were paid for by church members, tithes and offerings.
